This is the second time I knit this scarf. The first knitting was a disaster. It was twisted, it was too big, it was too small ... really the list could go on. I began calling it The Great Scarf Disaster of 2011 ... mainly because I so anticipated being able to wear this scarf that it was such a let-down to have to rip it out and start all over.
It was worth redoing, however. Not only has it been keeping me warm all day, but it is the very first thing I have ever knit and kept just for myself. I think this makes me a true knitter.
