You see, many months ago I saved a purse tutorial from Oh, Fransson! and immediately bought all the fabric. It was so long ago that when I went to find the tutorial off of her website, it was gone. Fortunately, Elizabeth responded to my begging and generously sent me a copy.
So, while I know I should have been sewing kids clothing; I need a purse, I had the fabric and the pattern, and decided to give it a go.
Here it is.
It has been rainy and gloomy here for weeks and I don't have the patience to wait for good light, especially because I am so stinkin' proud of this project. It's the first semi-complicated project I have ever made without a major goof. My only complaint is that it's pretty summery, considering we're headed into winter (remember, I bought the fabric long ago).That's no big deal, I consider it my ray of sun in all the gloom.
I am so impressed with the ease of the tutorial that I will definitely be spending some more time over at Oh, Fransson!

ReplyDeleteGreat purse! I love the style of it. How tough was it? I've only made pillows and curtains (easy), so I think it might be beyond me. I need a new purse and I love the idea of being able to pick out the fabric.
