I've been busy in the garden
And I want to share some pictures! Click through the picture to see more on flickr, and also to get the details of what I planted.
Here is our farthest north bed, in the square foot garden style.
The southern bed.
We had a lot of extra land and a lot of seeds that there weren't room for (not to mention some plants ... guess I went a little crazy at the farmers market). So, we decided we'd go ahead and give regular old vegetable gardening a try (as opposed to square foot gardening). I've dubbed this the squash garden, even though there are watermelons and cucumbers in there too.
And of course, the ever important compost bin.

ReplyDeleteeverything looks great!
Looks awesome! I'm so jealous. While I have a decent sized yard, it is almost entirely shadey. And the tomatoes, etc that I did plant got eaten by a hedgehog I think. GRRRRRRR.
